BGHF's Minds Matter Mental Health Campaign is a national campaign that includes digital and traditional grassroots awareness spearheaded by our BGH College Ambassador Program. The campaign includes a series of mental health related workshops at community libraries in various cities in the country. Minds Matter launched in January at Dauphin County Libraries in the Harrisburg, PA region as a partnership with Black Girl Health Foundation, Inc, National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM), and National Institute of Health's All of Us Research Program.
The Minds Matter campaign workshop series will continue as a hybrid event in Harrisburg, PA and is scheduled on Saturday, January 21, 20223 and Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11 am. Minds Matter will consist of a 1- day event in-person and 1 day event with a series of virtual workshops. The series will be live streamed on Black Girl Health Foundation's social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and the event website.
